Start out the class with a metta, loving kindness meditation. Send out love, hope, and strength to a mother-figure in your life. If that isn't a person, send it out to Earth Mama (the mama of all mamas).
- Sukhasana (Easy Pose)
- 5-10 minutes of Pranayama of choise
- Shoulder rolls
- Trace lines with your hands on the floor, letting arms sway side to side
- Garundasana (Eagle Pose) arms. Repeat other side
- Table
- Cat/Cow in table
- Balance in table extending opposite arm and leg. Repeat other side
- Thread the needle, taking one arm under other to twist. Repeat other side
- Utthita Shisonasana (Puppy Pose)
- Make way slowly onto back
- Supta Balasana (Happy Baby)
- Taking hands to knees, draw circles with the knees. Change directions of circles.
- Taking knees together, draw knees from side to side, using core stregth to move legs
- Supta Matsyendrasana (Reclined Twist). Repeat other side
- Supta Puvana Muktasana (Reclined Wind Relieving Pose)
- Lift head to knee, engage core. Release
- Repeat steps 16 and 17 other side
- Dandasana (Staff Pose)
- Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Fold)
- Come to standing
- Vrksasana (Tree Pose)
- Garundasana (Eagle Pose)
- Virabhadrasana III (Warrior III Pose)
- Tadasana (Mountain Pose)
- Repeat steps 22-26 on other side
- Come back down onto stomach
- Ardha Navasana (Half Boat Pose). Repeat other side
- Navasana (Boat Pose)
- Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose)
- Release, gently rock lower back
- Supta Kapotasana (Reclined Pigeon). Repeat other side
- Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose)
- Savasana
