Kombucha
Many of my favorite blogistas have a "Things I love" day. While I don't (yet), I'll give today to one of my great loves: Kombucha. Or, simply, The Booch.
At this point, with Whole Foods marketing strategies firmly in place, I'm sure many have heard of Kombucha. According to info on the side of many a Booch Bottle, it basically cures everything. Personally, though, I think it is a delicious beverage, and if it's good for me, well... plus.
Chris, my better-at-cooking half, recently made a Booch Batch. It was his first go at it. And... huge success. So very very yummy. It, however, is a bit sweeter than we're both used to. We're thinking we should just let it sit with the Boocha Mama for another day, but if anyone has any experience and finds differently, your knowledge and wisdom is appreciated!
What sorts of typically store-bought stuff do you like to make at home? Shake the cream up to make butter? Culture some yogurt? Home brews? Links to good recipes (like EcoYogini's recent post on yogurt) are great, too!
