What calls to you? What are you willing to stand for? Here's a heart opening sequence, for something worth taking your hand to your heart for.
- Sukhasana (Easy Pose)
- Taking hands to knee, open chest in slight backbend. Exhale, cave chest backwards. Move with the breath
- One hand above head, other to floor. Stretch arm above head and over for side stretch. Repeat other side
- Move between alternating side stretches
- Cat/cow in table pose
- Knee-down Tadasana (Mountain Pose)
- One armed Ustrasana (Camel Pose)
- Repeat other side
- Flow between alternating sides of One-Armed Camel
- Ustrasana
- Sarvangasana (Rabbit Pose)
- Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog)
- Tadasana
- Virabhadrasana I
- Interlock hands behind back for gentle chest opener
- Repeat steps 13-15 with other leg
- Vrksasana (Tree Pose)
- Come to the wall, back facing the wall. As you inhale, moving arms up into tree pose, come into a slight backbend, taking the palms of your hands to the wall behind you.
- Tadasana
- Repeat steps 17-19 on other side
- Vinyasa to floor
- Paripurna Navasana (Upward Boat Pose)
- Roll on back, taking hands under knees
- Come up again into Upward Boat
- Repeat steps 22-24 3x
- Upavishta Konasana (Seated Wide Angle Pose)
- Matsyendrasana (Seated Twist Pose), repeat other side
- Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose)
- Either repeat Setu Bandhasana or move into Urdhva Dhanurasana (Upward Bow Pose)
- Repeat 2x
- Savasana (Corpse Pose)
