Generosity
Part two in recognizing those who open their homes and hearts. Tonight we’re heading towards a friend of Chris’ in Moberly, Missouri. Chris hasn’t seen his friend in a long time—they’re childhood friends—but, in the week before Christmas they’re giving us their company and a place to stay.
We’ve been noting that we have some serious karma coming our way (in the proverbial sense). Over the past few months, and for the next month to come, every night has been in someone else’s home. When we finally do settle (oh my goodness, I am getting so ready to settle) we ought to have guests every night for a few months in a row. Which would be fine by me. Generosity begets generosity. I can feel this right now: everyone being so generous with me makes me want to be generous in turn.
Generosity
If you haven’t considered it yet, maybe think about giving a holiday gift of a donation in a loved one’s name. Some might not appreciate it, but it may inspire others. May your practice and your giving be an inspiration to yourself and to others.
