Sequence// Shoulder Openers
Yes, it's been awhile. My apologies. But here we go. A very, very good shoulder opener from a class I took on Monday night. You should make a 180 turn by the end of this sequence
- Start off with a bunch of Sun As and Bs to warm up (or your choice)
- Low lunge
- High Lunge (Crescent Lunge)
- Virabhadrasana II (Warrior II)
- Trikonasana (Triangle Pose)
- Revolved Triangle (Hand to back leg, heart opener, not the twist-y variety)
- Five Pointed Star
- Take your arms into Gomukhasana (Face of Light or Cow Face Pose) arms
- Exhale, keeping arms like that, come into wide-legged forward fold
- Inhaling to come up, keeping arms like that, turn to back of room
- Exhale, lower into Parsvottanasana (Pyramid Pose) with Face of Light Arms
- Inhale, come up half-way and release arms
- Parivrtta Trikonasana (Revolved Triangle, the twist-y variety)
- Inhale, come up halfway
- Virabhadrasana III
- Back to Crescent Lunge
- Vinyasa
- Repeat from 1, making your way back to the front of the room
- Complete with any cool-down
- Savasana!
